Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella was ‘happy’ with his side’s performance against Arsenal for most part, describing the 3-0 defeat as ‘too harsh’.

“I’m happy with how we held our own for the first 60 minutes,” Montella told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’m happy with how we held our own for the first 60 minutes,” Montella told Sky Sport Italia.

“We did especially well in the first half. We were very imposing at the back and we played with the principles we’d been working on in training, or at least tried to.

“3-0 was too harsh on us.”
