Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci admits he was not good enough last season and ‘wants to get back to what I was like two years ago.’

Bonucci returned to Juve from Milan last summer and helped them to another Scudetto, but some of his performances came in for criticism as the Old Lady failed in the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

The pressure is now on the 32-year-old to deliver following the €85.5m arrival of fellow centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.
