Gervinho twice gave Parma the lead and Luigi Sepe saved a penalty in a prestigious 2-2 friendly draw with Trabzonspor.
Sepe was immediately kept busy with a save on Abdulkadir, but Gervinho opened the scoring when he redirected a deflected corner from close range.
Joao Pereira got the equaliser by dribbling past Antonino Barillà and floating an extraordinary shot into the far top corner.
Barillà was caught out again on Abdelkadir and gave away a penalty, but Sepe managed to save ex-Milan midfielder Jose Sosa’s spot-kick.
Sepe came to the rescue once more on Muhammet from point-blank range and Parma made the most of the situation, scoring with a trademark Gervinho rapid counter-attack on Mattia Sprocati’s cross.
Yusuf Sari drew Trabzonspor level again on 65 minutes, but Parma kept pushing with Yann Karamoh and Fabio Ceravolo chances.
