Udinese earned a prestigious pre-season friendly 2-0 victory over Turkish giants Besiktas and hit the woodwork twice too.
Juan Musso was behind a Muhayer Oktay strike and Kevin Lasagna didn’t make the most of a Loris Karius error.
Gary Medel went off injured for Besiktas just 30 minutes in, but former Liverpool goalkeeper Karius remained the busier of the two shot-stoppers, parrying a Rolando Mandragora free kick and Lasagna header.

Udinese kept getting closer as the half wore on, as Ignacio Pussetto skimmed the upright and Mato Jajalo thumped it from a free kick.
The Friulani broke through straight after the restart, when Lasagna smashed his right-foot finish into the net after sensational Mato Jajalo work to burst forward from midfield.
Moments later, it was 2-0, with Lasagna this time setting up Pussetto to surprise the on-rushing Karius.
Sebastien De Maio almost had it at 3-0 in the final stages, his header from a Mandragora cross whistling just wide, then Andrija Balic rattled the woodwork yet again at the end of a solo effort.
