Genoa have officially signed attacker Riccardo Saponara from Fiorentina on loan with an option to buy.
The deal was confirmed in a statement on Genoa’s official website, with Genoa’s purchase option reported to be set at €3.8m.
Saponara spent last season on loan at city rivals Sampdoria, scoring two goals and providing five assists in 24 appearances.
The 27-year-old is a former Italy Under-21 international and also previously played for Empoli and Milan.
