Mauro Icardi has reportedly chosen Inter’s No 7 shirt as he is now thinking of staying at the club.
Icardi looked to be on his way out of Inter, but his insistence on only leaving for Juventus has kept him on the sidelines at San Siro.
The Argentine has been left out of first-team training for the past month, while Romelu Lukaku has since taken his No 9 from him.
However, Sport Mediaset claims he asked for the club’s No 7 jersey – as a sign of his intention to be reintegrated – and had his request accepted.

It comes despite the number being preferred by Alexis Sanchez, who is set to sign from Manchester United.
The ball would now be in the court of Coach Antonio Conte as the 26-year-old has already threatened legal action if he is not brought back from the cold.
