Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that Alexis Sanchez’s move to Inter will go down to the wire. “Let’s see in September…”
Sanchez looked to be all set for Inter earlier in the week, but it is understood United have now changed their demands for the forward, causing negotiations to take longer than planned.
In the meantime, the Chilean helped the Red Devils beat Sheffield United 3-1 in a closed-doors friendly.
“There are still talks with some clubs,” Solskjaer said at a Press conference.
“But he played in that game [against Sheffield United] and he played well. As I have said he is working well.
“Let’s see in September what is going to happen.”
The summer transfer window for Italian clubs closes on September 2.
