“I’ve have reached a point in my career where the most important thing is to play regularly,” the midfielder told Marca.
“Lokomotiv were the club that wanted me most and that was decisive because I wanted a project where I felt important. Of course, playing in the Champions League counts for a lot.
“I’m happy here and I’ve found a club who are very well-organised. Everything is going very well, the squad’s made up of experienced players who know each other well and having my teammate Eder here helps a lot.”
His situation now contrasts with last season, when he started just 12 times in Serie A for the Nerazzurri.
