Only two points separate these teams at the top of the Serie A table when they go head-to-head at San Siro.

“It is a top level match, just like the one in Barcelona,” director Marotta told RSI after a 2-1 Champions League defeat at Camp Nou.

“We are currently top of the table, but we realise this game represents a stepping stone rather than a decider. Therefore, the performance will count more than the result.”

Antonio Conte has been trying to drill a stronger mentality into the Nerazzurri, as seen by their excellent first half performance against Barcelona.

They fell away after the break and the Lautaro Martinez opener was overturned by a Luis Suarez brace.
