Rodrigo De Paul hit the woodwork with a scorching strike, as Argentina fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Emre Can’s Germany.
The friendly match was played in Dortmund, with the Seleccion starting Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and Juventus forward Paulo Dybala together.
It was another Serie A player, Udinese creative midfielder De Paul, who made a good impression with his long-range screamer rattling the frame of the goal.
Germany went 2-0 up by half-time with goals from Serge Gnabry and Kai Havertz.
However, Dybala made way for Lucas Alario on the hour mark and it changed the game, as within five minutes Alario had nodded in Marcos Acuna’s cross.
De Paul tested Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and with five minutes to go, Alario laid it off for Lucas Ocampos, with a deflection off Emre Can.
