Arkadiusz Milik has warned Napoli that “I’d like to get more than 15 minutes per game” after helping Poland qualify for Euro 2020.

Milik scored during Poland’s 2-0 win against North Macedonia last night, but the striker came away with mixed emotions as the euphoria of qualifying for the tournament contrasted with his situation at Napoli.

“I’d like to play a little more and get more than 15 minutes per game, but I won’t say anything else,” the 25-year-old said after the match.

“My goal was important. Lewandowski recovered the ball in a fantastic way for me, and I’m happy to have scored because the goal gave us peace of mind and sealed qualification.

“As for whether I’ll go to my third major tournament, we’ll see. I’d like to go there playing regularly. It’s true that everything depends on me, on my legs.

“I believe in myself, but it depends on the matches and minutes. If I don’t get any minutes then it’s difficult.”
