The latest news is that the weather warning for Genoa has been raised from Yellow Alert to Orange Alert.

If it goes up to Red Alert, the game will be postponed by the local authorities.

There are also strong winds, thunder and lightning expected this weekend, with gusts of 80-90km/h.

A report from the local weather stations notes that since Tuesday October 15, the area around Genoa has seen 732.2mm of rain, whereas in the first nine months of the year there had only been a total of 851.4mm.
