Mario Pasalic “would’ve been quite happy” with Atalanta holding Manchester City 1-1, but was left with regrets at San Siro instead.
The former Chelsea and Milan midfielder’s header secured the first ever Champions League point, holding Manchester City 1-1 at San Siro.
“If we’d been told before the game that this would be the result, we’d be quite happy with it,” confessed Pasalic on Sky Sport Italia.
“Considering the way the match was going, however, we could’ve done more and there are some regrets. We are happy because we put in a great performance, especially the second half.
“I saw that Shakhtar Donetsk drew 3-3 with Dinamo Zagreb, that means we’re still in it. We will try to get six points from the last two games and see what happens.”
