Marlon is back for Sassuolo as Roberto De Zerbi prepares to stick with the same tactics against a Bologna side struggling for firepower.

Sassuolo and Bologna are within touching distance of each other in the Serie A table, and De Zerbi will stick to an attacking 4-3-3 against the 13th-placed Rossoblu this evening.

The Neroverdi have been boosted by the return of Marlon, who is set to partner Filippo Romagna in the heart of defence.

Alfred Duncan and Manuel Locatelli will be on either side of 34-year-old Francesco Magnanelli in midfield.

Finally, the front three should consist of Francesco Caputo, Jeremie Boga and talisman Domenico Berardi, who recently signed a new contract.

Bologna, meanwhile, will line up in a 4-2-3-1 and have Gary Medel back to start the match alongside Andrea Poli in a double pivot.

However, Mattia Destro and Federico Santander are not at Sinisa Mihajlovic’s disposal so Rodrigo Palacio will be the lone striker, supported by Riccardo Orsolini, Mattias Svanberg and Nicola Sansone.

Sassuolo (probable): Consigli; Toljan, Marlon, Romagna, Kyriakopoulos; Duncan, Magnanelli, Locatelli; Berardi, Caputo, Boga

Bologna (probable): Skorupski; Mbaye, Danilo, Bani, Krejci; Poli, Medel; Orsolini, Svanberg, Sansone; Palacio
