Milan are reportedly hoping to unveil Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the club’s 120th anniversary celebration on December 15, but there are new contract developments.
The Rossoneri made their proposal to free agent Ibra, hoping he will choose sentiment over money and accept a return to San Siro.
He is a free agent after his contract with MLS club the LA Galaxy was allowed to run down.
According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, Milan chiefs hope the Swede will give his response in time to be announced on December 15.
This would allow him to be the guest of honour at a party celebrating the 120th anniversary of the club’s foundation.
There are new reports that the 18-month contract offered to Ibra could have an exit clause allowing him to walk away at the end of this season.
Tuttosport claim the proposal would help give Ibrahimovic freedom to leave after six months if the reunion is not a successful one.
Much could therefore depend on whether Milan qualify for Europe come the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
