Roma are going to have to find a new club for Steven Nzonzi, as Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim warned “nobody has the right to do what he did.”

The midfielder was sent to Turkey on loan with option to buy in August, but that looks to be cut short as early as January, because he has been frozen out of the squad for indiscipline in training.

“He did what he did and we accepted his decision,” Terim told reporters after a 2-2 draw with Ankaragucu.

“He did what he did and we accepted his decision,” Terim told reporters after a 2-2 draw with Ankaragucu.

“I can only tell you that his behaviour was not just disrespectful to me, but to all of his teammates. Nobody has the right to do what he did.”

Nzonzi has proved to be an expensive error for Roma, who paid €26.65m to sign him from Sevilla in the summer of 2018.

The 31-year-old made only 39 competitive appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.
