“That equaliser gave us a huge boost in helping us prepare for this game. Sometimes, a moment like that can be the turning point for a whole season,” the wing-back told Roma TV.
“We’ve tended to do well against the big clubs, perhaps because we are quite a new squad and at times struggle to really get into the game.
“Hopefully, we can change and improve that aspect of our approach. We saw that when we’re all focused, we can fight it out with anyone.”
