Sebastian Giovinco is looking forward to watching JuventusLazio for the Italian Super Cup tomorrow and is "not surprised" Gigi Buffon is still going strong.

Giovinco played for The Old Lady from 2008-10 and again from 2012-15 before leaving for Toronto FC.

He then left the Canadian side at the beginning of 2019 to join Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal, where he won the Asian Champions League.

Speaking to the Corriere dello Sport, Giovinco says he expects a great final between Juve and Lazio in Riyadh on Sunday.

Sebastian Giovinco is looking forward to watching Juventus-Lazio for the Italian Super Cup tomorrow and is "not surprised" Gigi Buffon is still going strong.

“It will be a beautiful final between a team that for right years has been the best in Italy against a team that this season is challenging for the title. I expect a balanced tie.

“Who will be decisive? If I said Cristiano Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile it would be obvious.”

Buffon has won six editions of the Supercoppa during his lengthy career, and Giovinco says the stopper won’t stop playing just yet.

“Buffon doesn’t surprise me. He’s a champion. He will go on for a few more years because he’s always number one.”

Giovinco has no qualms about who he will be supporting in tomorrow’s game in Riyadh.

“Tomorrow I will cheer for Juve. It’s normal. With the Bianconeri I won two Scduetti and two Italian Super Cups.”
