“Conte by far,” tweeted the Spaniard in response to a question about who was the hardest coach he had worked with.

“I always said that coming back and change around his mind about me was one of the most satisfying things I’ve done in my career. I had to be silent and sweat a lot though.”

The 32-year-old was also asked whether Sarri was “the most boring/risk-adverse” coach of a big club.

“He has his tactics and he dies with them. He’s not very flexible let’s say but he’s a good man with a good heart.”

Fabregas failed to win over the Juventus boss in West London and left for Monaco in January 2019.
