Milan reportedly turned down the chance to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich this week, as his salary is too high.

The 31-year-old can play in any role of a back four and his contract with Bayern is due to expire in June 2021.

He has been linked with numerous clubs in January, including Juventus and Arsenal, but there is another to add to the list.

According to Calciomercato.it, Milan were contacted by Boateng’s representatives last week and told he was available to try an experience in Serie A.
