Milan have made contact with Roma about the possibility of signing winger Cengiz Under.
The Rossoneri are in the market for a new winger, as Spanish international Suso has fallen out of favour with coach Stefano Pioli.
Pioli is having success with a 4-4-2 formation that leaves no room for the Spaniard.
Milan director Zvonimir Boban has, according to Calciomercato.com, initiated contacts with Roma about the possibility of signing Under.
The Turkish international hasn’t hit the same heights in the capital since his first season in Italy, and has hardly played for the Giallorossi this season.
Under would suit Pioli’s new 4-4-2 system, and could also play in a 4-3-3, should they need to switch formations.
The Giallorossi are also desperately on the lookout for a new winger following the injury of Nicolo Zaniolo and concern over the fitness of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
A deal for Inter’s Matteo Politano seemed close, only for the deal to breakdown at the last minute.
Therefore, a swap deal could benefit both parties
