The episode saw the entire Napoli squad return home as opposed to returning to the ‘ritiro’ that was enforced by club President Aurelio De Laurentiis after a sticky run of form.

Allan has since been in and out of the side amid speculation that he will leave the club.

Now Il Mattino report that the 28-year-old would like a reunion with Ancelotti at Everton, either now or in June.

The midfielder was a favourite of Ancelotti’s during his time in Naples, however Everton as of yet haven’t approached Napoli about signing the player.

Either way, the report states that Allan will leave the club by the start of next season.
