A South Korean court has ordered a local agency to pay two Korean fans $312 each for "mental anguish" following Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence in a Juventus friendly last summer.
Juventus conducted a pre-season tour of South-East Asia last summer, with games in China, Singapore and South Korea.
A friendly was organised between a K-League all-star side and the Bianconeri on July 26, which ended in a 3-3 draw.

The organiser of the event, an agency named The Fast Inc. advertised tickets on the basis that Juve star Ronaldo would play at least a full 45 minutes.
However Ronaldo didn’t appear in a single minute of the game.
This led a lawsuit being filled by multiple Korean fans in the aftermath of the game.
Now a Korean court has found the agency guilty, and ordered the company to pay the two plaintiffs $58.95 for the ticket, and $252.63 for “mental anguish” for Ronaldo’s lacking of playing time, bringing the total to $312 per fan.
