“We’ll be without Luca Ceppitelli, Leonardo Pavoletti, Marko Rog and Luca Cigarini,” explained the coach in his press conference.

“We have to concentrate above all on ourselves and not what the other teams are doing. This is going to be another tough game and we want to confirm the positive sensations of the last few weeks.

“It’s important that we have Alessio Cragno back and that he immediately returned to the form we remember from before the injury. I hope that he can be in the Italy squad for Euro 2020.”

The Sardinians were active in the January transfer window and could give ex-PSV Eindhoven striker Gaston Pereiro his debut tomorrow.

“He hasn’t played much this season and in training did things he was not accustomed to, but can bring us elements of the game that we didn’t have in our toolbox. I hope to give him room soon."
