Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic says Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic is one of the “most underrated footballers in the world” and he “would obviously like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The Croatian has been constantly linked with a move to Juve in the last several months, but a reported move in January never materialised.
Rakitic gave an interview to Bleacher Report and his comments have fuelled speculation once more over a move to Serie A.

Rakitic gave an interview to Bleacher Report and his comments have fuelled speculation once more over a move to Serie A.
“For me one of the most underrated players in the world is Miralem Pjanic. Jose Mourinho for example put my name forward,” Rakitic told Bleacher Report.
“However for me Pjanic is also up there.”
Rakitic has played with Lionel Messi for several years, but admits he would also like to play with Messi’s great rival, Ronaldo.
“Messi is the best of all time and it is fantastic to play alongside him.
“Obviously I would like to play with Ronaldo, he is one of the greatest players in the history of the game.
“You really enjoy watching him, and everyone can see what he is doing at Juve.”
