The left-back was still uplifted by the “spirit” shown against the Rossoneri and said the Granata have worked well under new coach Moreno Longo.

“We must continue the work,” he told Torino Channel. “Against Milan, we had a different spirit, closer to the one that Torino are known for.

“This is the only way we can get out of this situation. When you work, you see things change on the pitch.

“We have worked well in the last few days and I’m sure the results will come.”

Torino are currently 14th in the League and next up is a home game against Parma this weekend.
