The Derby d’Italia was postponed last weekend because they could not agree on who would be allowed into the stadium, but the Government decree then came through ruling all sport in Italy had to be behind closed doors during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to stick with the 4-3-3 formation, having Juan Cuadrado and Cristiano Ronaldo supporting Paulo Dybala in attack.

There are some doubts for the coach, as Giorgio Chiellini is pushing for a place in the starting XI, while Matthijs de Ligt has also stepped up his performances recently.

It is even suggested by some that Leonardo Bonucci could go to the bench instead.

In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi are the favourites, with pressure from Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot.

As for Inter, the big news is the return of Handanovic in goal after over a month out of action with a hairline fracture in his little finger.

Alessandro Bastoni is more likely than Diego Godin to start in the three-man defence, while Antonio Candreva is expected to start on the right wing.

Antonio Conte looks as if he will bench January signing Eriksen in favour of Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolò Barella.

There are no doubts in attack, as Lautaro Martinez returns from suspension to partner Romelu Lukaku.

Probable line-ups
