The FIGC has announced their decision to postpone their Federal Council scheduled on March 23 to an undefined later date.

In a press release the Italian Football Federation has revealed that the meeting scheduled on March 23 will be too early to take any decisions on the proceedings of Serie A and other Italian competitions currently affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina has already revealed that he is “convinced that April 3 is a date perhaps too close to think of an immediate restart of all activities, not only sports, but also economic ones.”

Today the FIGC has released a short statement reading: “The FIGC has decided to postpone the Federal Council scheduled for Monday 23 to a later date”.
