ESPN reports that the Red Devils are prepared to make another attempt at signing De Ligt this summer, but it remains to be seen if Juventus are willing to listen to any offers for the Dutch starlet.

The 20-year-old arrived at the Allianz Stadium last summer and was rushed into play by an injury to captain Giorgio Chiellini and had a tough start to life in Turin.

The Holland international was replaced by Merih Demiral during the first half to the season, but the Turkey international also suffered a serious injury, after only appearing five times for the reigning champions, contributing one goal in the process.

De Ligt was reintroduced and has racked up 20 Serie A appearances in his first season with the Bianconeri but was struggling to convince the critics during his first months in Italy.

He signed a five-year deal with the Old Lady, after rejecting interest from United, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain last summer, all interested in the youngster’s signature as he had helped Ajax to the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.

ESPN writes that their sources have revealed a list of possible targets for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is going to be on the market for a centre-back this summer.

The report claims that both De Ligt and Koulibaly have appeared on the wish list at Old Trafford, with United ready to make new attempt also for the Senegalese international previously linked with a move to Manchester.
