Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini concedes “the odds aren’t great” on Radja Nainggolan making his move from Inter permanent.

The Belgium international arrived on loan and the Corriere dello Sport believes a deal could be done for €15-20m, although his €4m per season salary could prove to be an issue.

“Radja proved how important he can be for us,” President Giulini told the newspaper.

“Radja proved how important he can be for us,” President Giulini told the newspaper.

“It would be a very complicated negotiation with Inter, but if Radja wants to stay, we could try. As the situation stands right now, the odds aren’t great of seeing Nainggolan remain with Cagliari.”

‘Ninja’ has said many times that Cagliari is his second home, as he spent many years here before moving on to Roma.
