Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso and director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli have given up a month’s salary to cover furloughed club employees.

The Corriere dello Sport reports that the decision was made autonomously by Gattuso and Giuntoli to help the club deal with the coronavirus crisis.

Napoli put 30 non-playing club employees on furlough for March and April during the lockdown, meaning they are effectively without pay.
