Torino rejected January offers worth €45m from both Fiorentina and Everton for striker Andrea Belotti, claim Tuttosport.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, Il Gallo was the subject of two huge proposals mid-season.

He has a release clause in his contract worth €100m that is only valid for clubs outside of Italy.

It’s reported Fiorentina proposed €40m for Belotti in January, before securing a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers for Patrick Cutrone instead.

A few days later, an even bigger bid worth €45m is said to have come in from Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton.

Toro President Urbano Cairo turned that down as well, determined to keep his star man during a difficult campaign.

The 26-year-old Italy international scored 15 goals in 31 competitive games for Torino this season.
