According to reports, Coach Gattuso arrived at the crack of dawn to begin work, as he and his staff have planned out 60-minute sessions for each player.

The goalkeepers were the first to arrive, Alex Meret, David Ospina and Orestis Karnezis each with their own training pitch and a series of sanitised footballs.

A verdict on the medical protocol presented by the FIGC is expected today and, if accepted, all teams will be able to resume contact training on May 18.
