Serie B side Livorno have been in financial trouble for some time and it’s reported failure to complete the sale could see them go bankrupt this summer.

It is therefore a concern that Dutch police raided the offices of Yousif in Amsterdam, seeking information on an alleged illegal transfer of luxury vehicles.

Yousif is CEO of the ‘Share’n’Go’ company, which rents electric cars.

“Clearly, we are worried by he situation, but I only have news from the reporters and know nothing definitive,” Spinelli told Tuttomercatoweb.

“We’ve said many times that it won’t be like the past, when we said we wanted to sell the club and would then stay. This time, we really have finished our time in Livorno.

“Nobody wants to abandon the club, so if the negotiations with Yousif fall apart then we’ll try to find another solution, but after three months of negotiations, it’d be strange if it didn’t go through.

“All we can do is wait for news by June 3.”
