The Referees’ Association chief thinks it will be of help for the Italian people also from ‘a psychological point of view’.
“The restart is encouraging,” he told Italpress. “If we can resume, it’s because there are positive signs regarding the pandemic and now we hope to continue on this path.
“We are hoping to start talking about goals, penalties, corner kicks. People also need it from a psychological point of view.
“In a still difficult time, having the comfort of a few hours of serenity thanks to football is an incentive for everyone.”
