Imolese have officially announced the appointment of Roberto Cevoli as their new head coach, signing a deal until June 2021.
The 51-year-old former Reggina coach has signed a deal with the Serie C club, who sacked Gianluca Atzori after a difficult season leaving them 17th in the table ahead of the forced break.
“Imolese Calcio 1919 announce that Roberto Cevoli has been assigned as first-team coach until June 30, 2021,” the club wrote in a statement.

The former defender, who played 519 times during his professional career, including stints at Modena, Torino, Carpi, Cesena and Reggina, has been without a job since he left his coaching position at the latter in June 2019.
Imolese currently sit five points behind safety in Girone B of Italian Serie C.
