Torino are warming up for their Serie A comeback on June 20 against Parma, as Andrea Belotti and Simone Zaza bagged a brace each in a new 4-4-2 formation.

Coach Moreno Longo took over from sacked Walter Mazzarri at the start of February and lost all three matches in charge going into the lockdown.

He has taken the time to work on the tactics and shelved Mazzarri’s beloved three-man defence in favour of a 4-4-2.

The squad played out a test match between ranks today, with Belotti and Zaza forming a new partnership upfront, scoring two goals each.

Lorenzo De Silvestri was the right-back, with Bremer on the left, plus Nicolas Nkoulou and Armando Izzo in the centre.

As for the midfield, Simone Edera – who can also be used as a striker – and Alex Berenguer flanked Tomas Rincon and Soualiho Meite.

Izzo and Edera scored the other goals, while Sasa Lulic and Ola Aina found the net for the ‘opposition’ team.
