While there are reports in Spain that Real Betis and Granada want Napoli man Jose Callejon, Granada director Fran Sanchez insists he is ‘not an option for us.’

Cadena Cope and La Razon both state today that Andalusian clubs Real Betis and Granada are the favourites ahead of Valencia.

Cadena Cope and La Razon both state today that Andalusian clubs Real Betis and Granada are the favourites ahead of Valencia.

“This story did emerge in a few Spanish newspapers,” Granada director of sport Sanchez told CalcioNapoli24.it.

“The player’s experience speaks for itself, but nowadays Granada do not aspire to sign a player like Callejon. We are a humble club, just promoted into the Liga, so although clearly everyone would love a player like Callejon, the truth is he’s currently not an option for us.”
