David Ospina’s facial injury gives a chance to Alex Meret in goal and Elseid Hysaj may make an appearance, filling one of the two full-back berths.

Roma, meanwhile, will call up Zaniolo for the first time since he broke down with an ACL injury in January.

The midfielder resumed training earlier this week, although it is still too soon for him to return to the starting XI.

Elsewhere, coach Paulo Fonseca will ring the changes, with Gianluca Mancini, Davide Santon, Jordan Veretout, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Edin Dzeko and possibly Justin Kluivert all expected to come in.

Despite being brought off just 45 minutes into the Giallorossi’s 2-0 loss to Udinese, Napoli target Cengiz Under should again feature on the right wing.

Napoli (probable): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Fabian, Demme, Zielinski; Callejon, Milik, Insigne

Roma (probable): Mirante; Santon, Mancini, Smalling, Kolarov; Cristante, Veretout; Cengiz, Pellegrini, Kluivert; Dzeko
