Fiorentina have set their sights on Torino striker Andrea Belotti, claim reports, but the asking price is €70m.
The 26-year-old has found the net in each of his last six Serie A games, including last night’s 3-1 defeat to Inter.
His contract runs to June 2022 and there is a release clause worth €100m, but that is valid only for clubs outside of Italy.
According to La Nazione newspaper in Florence, the Viola believe Belotti is the ideal figure to lead their attack next season.
Il Gallo is also increasingly frustrated at the lack of ambition in Turin and total reliance on him for their goals.
Belotti scored 15 goals in 30 Serie A games this season, 21 in 38 competitive matches, and is yearning for a stronger team to work with.
