Gian Piero Gasperini admits Atalanta are ‘thinking about the clash with PSG’ in the Champions League, but will ‘do everything’ to secure second in Serie A.

Juventus were crowned winners for the ninth consecutive season, but the fight for second is still on, with Inter one point ahead of the Orobici at third ahead of Serie A Week 37.

Atalanta have two games left and start with an away trip to Parma on Tueday, before hosting Inter at the Gewiss Stadium on August 2.

“Fate is in our own hands, by winning both of the last two games, we can end second,” Gasperini told Atalanta’s official website. “It’s not the most important goal ever.

“It was essential for us to qualify for the Champions League, but we will do everything we can to reach second.”

However, Gasperini admitted that his players are already thinking about the massive game against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League next month.

"Yes, we are thinking about the clash with PSG,” he said. “The best way to get there is to stay concentrated in these two games."
