Inter target Matthias Ginter has distanced himself from a move to Serie A and says he’s happy at Borussia Monchengladbach.
The defender was asked about a move Inter during an interview with Bild and the newspaper says the player expressed his ‘appreciation’ for the interest.
The report has claimed Die Fohlen could be willing to sell Ginter for €40m, but the player intends to stay with Gladbach.
“I feel very comfortable at Gladbach and I still have great objectives here,” he told the German newspaper.
FCInterNews claims the Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte has the 26-year-old centre-back on his wish list this summer. Ginter played 31 games in the 2019-20 Bundesliga season.
Reports in Italy claimed Juventus were looking at the defender in March.
