The Nerazzurri have certainly found their form, as Conte uses the same starting XI for the fourth consecutive match after wins over Atalanta, Getafe and Bayer Leverkusen.

That means Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez leading a 3-5-2 formation, with Christian Eriksen on the bench, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolò Barella and Roberto Gagliardini in midfield.

Danilo D’Ambrosio and Ashley Young are again preferred to Antonio Candreva, Victor Moses and Cristiano Biraghi, with Diego Godin rather than Milan Skriniar in the back three.

Some of those decisions are forced, because Alexis Sanchez and Matias Vecino are out injured, although the Chilean is somewhat surprisingly named on the bench.

Shakhtar Donetsk, like Inter, started this season in the Champions League and dropped down to Europa after finishing third in their group behind Atalanta.

They beat Benfica, Wolfsburg and Basel on their way to the semi-finals, scoring 14 goals and conceding six in those five games.

Coach Luis Castro has no injuries to contend with and has Davit Khocholava back after he missed the Basel match through suspension.

Marcos Antonio again pulls the strings in Ukraine’s most Brazilian team, with Marlos, Alan Patrick, Taison and centre-forward Junior Moraes.
