Bologna have officially appointed Luciano Zauri as their new Primavera youth team coach, despite reports Daniele De Rossi could take the job.
The announcement was made this morning, with Zauri given a two-year contract to June 2022.
There had been strong reports Bologna were determined to give ex-Roma legend De Rossi his first management role by working with the Rossoblu teenagers.
However, Zauri has been working as a coach in various guises since 2014, at Pescara, Udinese and then back to the Delfini again.

He replaces Emanuele Troise on the Bologna Primavera bench.
