While Sevilla were beating Inter 3-2 in the Europa League Final last night, thieves tried to break into ex-Milan winger Suso’s house.
According to Marca, the incident occurred during the match, which was played behind closed doors in Cologne.
There were two men who tried to break into the home through the back garden, but Suso’s wife Alicia was watching the game with their two young children.
She heard noises and switched on the lights in the garden, catching the robbers on camera and prompting them to flee.
It is part of a growing trend for players to see their homes burgled while they are playing big matches.
There was a case in Italy, with Franck Ribery of Fiorentina, but also the likes of Willian Carvalho, Joaquin and Chicharito Hernandez.
