The 35 players called up for Italy’s Nations League games against Bosnia and the Netherlands all tested negative for COVID-19.

The Azzurri will host Bosnia-and-Herzegovina at the Stadio Franchi in Florence on Friday September 4, then visit Holland on Monday September 7.

Coach Roberto Mancini called up 35 players and they all had to undergo COVID-19 tests as they arrived at the Coverciano training camp last night.

These are both swabs and blood tests, with every player isolated into their own room until the results were back.

They all came back negative, so the squad was able to begin training in a group this morning.

Italy are still without Sandro Tonali and Jorginho, who are currently in quarantine and should join the squad on Monday or Tuesday of their coronavirus tests are negative.
