The 21-year-old attacking winger will be coached by Eusebio Di Francesco in Sardinia and given regular playing time.
“Fiorentina and Cagliari are exchanging the contracts, so it just needs to be made official now,” Sottil told the Corriere dello Sport.

“Fiorentina and Cagliari are exchanging the contracts, so it just needs to be made official now,” Sottil told the Corriere dello Sport.
“As soon as they proposed the idea of the transfer to Sardinia, I didn’t think twice. It’s a good club with a strong President, while I always appreciated the way Di Francesco gets the best out of young players.
“I can give my best in Cagliari’s 4-3-3 formation, playing wide in the trident.”
Sottil made 18 Serie A appearances for the Viola last season, most of them off the bench.
