Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be in negotiations for Napoli and Algeria international left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.

According to the Corriere del Mezzogiorno newspaper, agent Jorge Mendes – who practically runs the Wolves transfer strategy – will meet with Ghoulam’s agent on Sunday to discuss a deal.

Ghoulam had been one of the best left-backs in the world before a devastating series of knee injuries began in November 2017.

He is no longer part of Napoli’s plans and looking for more regular playing time.
