Serie B side Monza have announced two of their players have tested positive for COVID-19.

The club released a statement this afternoon confirming two members of the squad, who are both asymptomatic, tested positive and have now been quarantined in their homes.

All the other tests on their teammates and staff came back negative.

Monza are run by President Silvio Berlusconi, who contracted COVID-19 last month, and former Milan CEO Adriano Galliani.

They invested heavily following promotion from Serie C, bringing in the likes of Kevin-Prince Boateng, Gabriel Paletta, Carlos Augusto and Antonio Marin.
