Inter star Ashley Young appeared on YouTube Kids in the fight against bullying. ‘Kindness is contagious and the most effective way to combat bullying’.
The Nerazzurri defender sent a video message, urging kids to ‘be kind to each other’ and contribute to stop bullying.
The former England player, capped 39 times, started his career at Watford. He later played four seasons at Aston Villa, before moving to Manchester United.
After eight and a half seasons at Old Trafford, the 35-year-old completed a move to Inter in January and has played 28 games, contributing four goals and six assists during his time with the Beneamata.
“Hi kids, I’m Ashley Young and I play for Inter,” he said. “I’m here on YouTube Kids because I want to talk to you about a very important topic: kindness.
“When you’re with your family, at school, with your friends, out in the real world and online. It’s important to always be kind towards others.
“Unfortunately, there are some who are victims of bullying. This also takes place in the world of football and sport, which I’m a part of.
“Kindness is contagious and the most effective way to combat bullying. I urge you to be kind to each other, sending big hugs.”
